Haunted Houses in Italy

Haunted houses in Italy…whether you’re a believer or not, you’ll find many Italians who do! During one of my first trips to Siracusa we passed an abandoned Tenuta along the road to Arenella..I said, “How lovely is this place!” My husand said “It’s haunted.” I obviously said “WHAT! Are you kidding?” He pulled over and said, “Watch when the locals drive past.” One car, two cars, three cars in a row honked their horn as they drove by. All the locals honk to say hello – a gesture of making peace with the spirits that live inside! So now we’ve joined the club and honk too! It’s truly a beautiful property, one that couldn’t dare be left behind on purpose!

As writing this note, I have discovered a link of the house I’ve mentioned – sorry in Italian only, will need translated.
